[Foam Pad + Cover Version] This version of the pack has a removable 1/8" foam pad and cover option. We leave the foam pad in the pack for daily use, short hikes, or travel. When going on a backpacking trip or long hike, removing the foam pad and putting a folded inflatable sleeping pad in the bag will make the inside of the pack more organized and add a little more rigidity than just placing a foam pad. There is also a UHMWPE mesh pocket on the foam pad cover that can hold a laptop or hydration bag, and there are several small pockets inside for keys and small items. There is a buckle ring with a cutout on the top to hang the hydration bag on the inside or outside of the foam pad cover
